Memory Lane, Freedom Fighters to Homefront

So  Homefront is coming out soon and a beloved game of mine came to mind when i was looking up Homefront. Freedom Fighters, one of my many favorites on the PS2. The games is set in around new york following Chris, a ordinary working plumber when the soviets decide to invade. The story, sound, characters, and gameplay combined to make one hell of a game.

 

 

I have a soft spot for resistance games that get your blood flowing fighting offing invaders till your body is broken from fighting. I’m looking forward to Homefront to quench my thirst for the WOLVERINES! feeling. I hope it doesn’t disappoint, and it shouldnt with heavy influences from movies like Red Dawn.

I will have a review for Homefront as soon as i have played through it fully in the coming week.

    DUDE! The EXACT same title crossed my mind when I watched recent footage of Homefront! Just, instead of Russians, its NK’s lol. Freedom Fighters was EXCELLENT! In fact, EA was prepped for a sequel, but has since shelved it in pursuit of more “viable” franchises. I suppose I cant blame them, not many got to experience FF last gen, so launching one now would almost be like launching a new TPS IP. Not a good idea at the moment. They should port whatever they have over to the NGP!
